After working with exchanges as product designer for the past 3 years, I saw firsthand how frustrating it is to wait endlessly for merchants to pick up orders. I also noticed many off-ramp platforms generate new wallets for users to fund — which frequently leads to confusion and lost funds. In Africa, millions of people earn in crypto but struggle to safely convert it into local currency. They juggle multiple apps, face hidden fees, and often lose money to scams, wrong wallets, or failed P2P trades. In fact, over $150 million was lost in bad P2P and Off-ramp trades from 2023 - 2024 alone. That’s why i thought of building a system where users simply connect their new or existing Solana wallets like Solflare, JupMobile, Phantom and others, swap their tokens, and convert crypto-to-fiat, all in a platform. Which eliminate crypto off-ramp fragmentation, loss of funds to fake or wrong wallet addresses. I'm proud of this project because while running internal testing, amigoxchange helped a lot of people and we got reviews that help us understand the value of what we're building.
