Been doing FBA research and got tired of switching between tabs. Built an MCP plugin for Claude Desktop that lets you type things like: "Find market gaps for yoga mats" "Compare these 5 ASINs" "Search top competitors for wireless earbuds"..and get instant analysis with opportunity scores, price gap detection, and review count data. honestly this looks super useful for anyone doing FBA research, the tab switching pain is real. one thing that would be a game changer for me though, adding a way to export the data straight to a spreadsheet or csv would save a ton of time, right now i'd still need to copy paste everything into my own tracking sheet
Pulled it up in Claude Desktop and asked it to compare a few ASINs I had open. Got the price gap breakdown and review counts back in seconds without alt-tabbing. Worth the 19 bucks if you already live in Claude for research.
finally something that cuts the tab chaos, the market gap prompt actually flagged a niche id been eyeing and the opportunity score matched what i was seeing manually. solid first build.
One thing I'd love to see is a way to save and export comparison results as a shareable report or CSV, so I can hand them off to sourcing partners or drop them straight into a supplier brief without reformatting.
