Hi everyone. For years, I keep track of Product Hunt and always found some really exciting tools here. Now it’s finally time for my project to make its debut and I couldn't be more excited.  Before I started alugha, I used to be a YouTuber, there I learned about the hassle and limitations to present videos in more than one language for an international audience. That’s when we came up with the idea of a multilingual video player that supports multiple audio tracks: alugha was born! We had a humble beginning, only my son (at this time 15yrs) and me embarked on this journey, and little by little develop our idea into a full company with more than 40 employees and more than 17 000 international users. It started with a simple player that grew into a complete video translation toolkit that unifies the transcription, translation and dubbing workflow in one digital workspace. Making video translation project as easy and cost-efficient as possible is the core of our product philosophy. That's why we heavily focus on team collaboration features and AI supported workflows. Currently, you can collaborate with a team in real time on projects, and you can even use automatic Transcription and Translation to create multilingual subtitles in up to 80 languages. But we don't stop there, our goal is to automate the video translation even further, so that one button click is enough to make your video accessible in every language, worldwide, instantly. It may take a bit till we realize our big vision, but we have an awesome development team that will make it a reality. @alugha_administrator I can only congratulate you for doing something nobody else was able to do in the video industry and doing it so well! It works flawlessly and adds so much more than one could expect. I absolutely love the editor and voice recording directly on your page to enable multiple audio tracks in an instant!

As alugha is located in Germany and they operate their own technical infrastructure (no AWS, Google Cloud or similar Hypervisors) > I think it's the best Video-Hosting-Portal in times of GDPR and mass-surveillance :)

Wow this is the most fantastic tool that exists for videos, translations, subtitles, much better than Vimeo

Great product to make video multiligual. It would be much better once they comeup with TTS.
