I'm excited to share AliasLink with you all. As a marketer, I was frustrated paying $29/month just to see where my clicks came from. So I built a free alternative that gives you all the analytics you need without the subscription fees.

What makes AliasLink different:
- Completely free (not freemium)
- Full click analytics included
- UTM parameter generator
- Custom aliases for branding

I'd love to hear your feedback and answer any questions! What features would you find most useful in a URL shortener?

This looks awesome, i always felt why is anyone paying for bitly. It is probably the brand that really stuck around more than the functionality.

Will definitely try this, you can make this open-source and AWS amplify friendly to enable anyone to host it... With a simple supabase/upstash backend..

You can improve the tutorials with something like directstudio.io or scree.studio that will make it super legit..

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! You're absolutely right about Bitly - it's amazing how much people pay just for the brand when the core functionality can be much simpler and cheaper.

Really appreciate your suggestions:

Open Source & Self-hosting: That's definitely on my roadmap! I'm considering making it open source with easy deployment options like AWS Amplify + Supabase. The goal is to let people host their own instance while keeping the hosted version free for those who prefer convenience.

Backend Options: Supabase + Upstash is a great combo suggestion - would make it super easy for developers to spin up their own instances with minimal setup.

Tutorial Videos: Thanks for the directstudio.io and scree.studio recommendations! I haven't heard of those before but will definitely check them out. Better tutorials would really help people get started quickly.

Your input is exactly what I need to prioritize the right features. Would love to hear more thoughts as you try it out!

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.
