Hi Product Hunt! I'm the developer of Alias, a word party game for friends playing in the same room.

One person reads a word and describes it while their teammates guess against the clock. The app manages the word list, timer and score. You pass the iPhone to the next team after the round; other players don't need their own download or account.

Create two to six teams, mix more than 60 categories, adjust round length and target score, and correct a mistaken result after a round. Gameplay works offline after installation.

The download and some categories are free. All categories can be unlocked with a one-time Alias Premium purchase. There are no ads or subscriptions. English, Spanish, French and German are supported alongside other languages. Requires iOS 17 or later; App Store age rating: 13+.
