I built AlgoDrill because I kept running into the same wall with interview prep. I would solve a problem after watching a walkthrough, feel confident, then completely lock up when I tried to write the code from a blank editor a few days later. I could recognize the pattern, but I could not reliably reconstruct the solution under pressure. What I actually needed was reps on recall, not more reading and watching. Something that forced me to rebuild the solution line by line until the structure felt automatic. I started with a tiny script that hid parts of my own solutions and made me fill them back in. That little experiment made a bigger difference to my confidence than any new playlist or course. From there it grew into AlgoDrill. Pattern focused drills, rebuild flows for sets like NeetCode 150 and beyond, and a way to practice the exact moments where most people freeze, not just the final code. My goal with this launch is simple: help people move from “I kind of remember this idea” to “I can actually type this out in real time during an interview.” If you have thoughts on what would make this genuinely more useful for your prep, I would love your feedback in the comments.
