Reviewers mostly describe Alfred as an essential Mac utility that replaces Spotlight with faster search and broader keyboard-driven control. They repeatedly praise shortcuts, snippets, clipboard history, workflows, app and web search, and quick setup of small automations, saying it becomes one of the first apps they install and hard to live without.
