I built Alertr because I kept seeing the same problem with Shopify merchants I work with — they find out a product is out of stock when a customer tells them. By then you've lost the sale and probably the repeat order.
The tools that solve this start at $40/mo and go up to $250. They're built for operations teams with headcount. Most DTC founders running 200 SKUs don't need demand planning modules and purchase order workflows. They need to know what's about to run out and when to reorder.
That's all Alertr does. Tracks sell rate per SKU, calculates days of stock left, sends you an alert on email or Slack before anything hits zero. Free for up to 50 SKUs so you can see if it's useful before committing.
Currently in beta — early adopters lock in $19/mo permanently (regular price will be $29). Would love feedback from anyone managing inventory on Shopify.
