My club, the Quantum Computing Club at UC Davis, worked on this as a collaboration with IBM Q. In particular, John Long, and Jack Goon worked on this project, with Jack Goon serving as the Lead Biological Researcher and John Long serving as the Lead Quantum Architect. This was a problem myself, researchers at IBM Q, and others in the quantum computing industry had with doing biological work on quantum computers, and we hope this solution helps developers take the jump to using quantum computers more quickly!
