I built Akweno because managing property investments still feels far more complicated than it should. Like a lot of investors, I ended up with spreadsheets, documents, statements, calculators and bits of information scattered everywhere. The tools that did exist often seemed focused on tax, property management or accounting — rather than the decisions you actually make as an investor. So I started building the product I wanted to use myself. Akweno brings your properties together in one place, helps you understand how they're performing, and gives you tools to model the decisions that matter - whether that's buying another property, changing rent, understanding cash flow or simply working out whether your investments are performing as well as you think they are. It's still early, and that's part of why I'm launching it here. I'm genuinely interested in what people find useful, what they don't, and what they'd want Akweno to do next.
