Hi everyone, I created Akari Study out of frustration from constantly switching between different websites while studying Japanese—such as dictionary tabs, JLPT lists, flashcards, furigana tools, and translation sites. I wanted a solution that was focused and distraction-free, which would run locally on Windows. Akari is designed primarily for beginner to intermediate learners and includes the following features: 1. Offline kanji and vocabulary search 2. JLPT kanji browser 3. Furigana generator with instant kanji lookup 4. On-demand flashcard generation (with related vocabulary) 5. SM2 spaced repetition system (SRS) deck 6. Study dashboard with streak tracking and progress monitoring Most features work offline, and the goal is to minimise friction during your daily study sessions.
