Love the idea. This might would work better if you could add in your connections on Linked In/FB/Foursquare to see who's taking the same flight as well going to SXSW or a major tourist spot like Thailand. Otherwise not sure this would work. without critical mass right off the bat.

I feel like this concept has been tried a couple times and has failed to get adoption. I'd love to give it a go once it's up and running on iOS and hopefully this rendition will stick.

This feels like a bit of a long shot, if you multiply the chances of knowing anyone on the same flight by the chances of both having the app installed. Zero utility until everyone is using it?
