First, before analyzing mood or health indicators, our app verifies image quality and confirms a supported pet is in the photo. Our models are trained on diverse datasets covering various breeds, ages, lighting conditions, and angles to adapt smoothly to real-world photos to ensure high baseline accuracy (~87.6%).

Second, every scan generates a confidence score. If a photo is too dark, blurry, or taken from an extreme angle where the AI cannot be certain, we don't guess. Instead, the app notifies the user that the scan is uncertain and prompts them to take a clearer photo, ensuring you only receive insights you can trust."
