Hi Product Hunt. I'm Mucahit, founder of AI Tools Police. We started because it was surprisingly hard to find out what AI products actually cost and what their vendors actually promise. Our first study audited 76 consumer AI products across 15 categories against a pre-registered 37-variable instrument. The short version: vendors disclose what you need to sign up, not what you need to budget. The dataset and the instrument are public under a DOI. We also publish reviews across video, image, voice, writing and detection tools, and analysis of AI governance and policy. Rankings are never for sale.
