I built AI Slop Blocker because browsing the internet was starting to feel like walking through an endless AI content buffet. The extension hides content explicitly labelled as AI-generated, AI-assisted, or synthetic while keeping the surrounding website usable. It also lets you create private filters for posts, creators, channels, and phrases that automatic detection misses. Everything runs locally in your browser. There are no accounts, analytics, subscriptions, or browsing data uploads. It is free and open source. One important reality check: it cannot reliably identify every piece of unlabelled AI content, and it does not pretend otherwise.
