I’ve been running for 18 years, covering everything from simple 10Ks to 100-mile trails. But I didn't start as an athlete. I started when my BMI hit 30. Honestly, I tried to start three times—and quit twice—before I finally fell in love with it. I found that the key to staying consistent wasn't speed, but simply pushing myself to go out 3–4 times a week for at least three weeks. Lately, a lot of my friends (mostly middle-aged like me) have been asking how to start and how to train. I always tell them: turn the "must" into a habit first. That’s the only secret to how I’ve kept running for 18 years. This inspired me to build something different. I created AI RunWise to help friends (and myself) stay committed, but with a fun twist. What makes it different? 90s Pixel Art Style: I wanted it to feel fun, so the whole UI has a retro/pixel art vibe. 3 Coaching Personalities: You can choose the "vibe" of your coach. Adaptive Training: I’ve "codified" my 18 years of experience into the logic. It offers 4 different training approaches and uses context understanding to build adaptive plans—specifically designed to prevent injury for new or serious runners. I know most people want to run but struggle with consistency. My app isn't trying to be another data-heavy dashboard. It focuses on understanding your condition and keeping you committed until running becomes a habit. The performance improvement will come naturally after that. There is a free version that is more than sufficient for a new runner. If you want to support the project or commit a bit more, you can upgrade anytime.
