AI MetaClean removes EXIF, GPS, XMP, AI workflow data, and supported C2PA metadata from JPG, PNG, and WebP images. Everything runs locally in your browser—no uploads, no account, and no recompression in Original mode.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built AI MetaClean because removing private metadata shouldn’t require uploading the original file to another server.
It removes EXIF, GPS, XMP, AI workflow text, and supported C2PA containers from JPG, PNG, and WebP images—entirely in your browser. Original mode keeps the encoded image pixels unchanged, and cleaned files come with a cleaning report.
It’s free, requires no account, and supports batches of up to 20 images.
One deliberate limitation: it does not remove visible watermarks, platform records, or pixel-embedded signals such as SynthID.
I’d love feedback on browser compatibility, the clarity of the cleaning report, and which file format we should support next.
