I built AI File Organizer Pro because I kept running into the same two bad options: spend hours dragging files around by hand, or trust a "smart" organizer that silently moves things I never approved. The core idea is review-first: rules or AI propose a full list of changes, but nothing touches disk until you approve it. You can edit or deselect individual moves, and there's a real undo if a batch turns out wrong after applying. The approach evolved as the folders I tested against got bigger and messier — user-defined rules had to become the highest-priority signal (so recurring patterns always sort the same way), with AI stepping in only for the ambiguous long tail. From there, supporting multiple providers — GPT-5.6, Claude 5, Gemini 3.6, OpenRouter, and local Ollama — followed naturally, so nobody's locked into one vendor's pricing, availability, or privacy model. Privacy was a hard constraint the whole way: filename/metadata scanning is the default, and reading file content or image pixels for AI analysis is strictly opt-in per run.
