AI Coach now supports macOS 27. Drop an image onto your pet, choose the option to ask what it sees, and it answers in its own personality. Apple's on-device model reads the image directly, and the image stays on your Mac.
This feature always uses the built-in model—even if you've selected an external AI provider for other features.
This update also improves longer conversations by trimming older exchanges before they exceed the model's context limit. Dictation now preserves the audio across buffer boundaries, and repeat sessions start faster because the speech analysis model stays loaded.
