Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Jimena, 26, based in London. Aho started from a personal frustration: I got tired of being told that success meant a corporate job, a fixed five-day week, and a pension I'd have to trust to someone else forty years from now. What actually changed how I thought about my own life wasn't university, it was seminars, books, and the right people. I realised the real gap isn't motivation, it's access: to the right events, the right mentors, the right ideas.
Aho matches you to hand-picked personal growth events, seminars, workshops, retreats, for exactly what you're going through, instead of scrolling through hundreds of unrelated listings. It also gives the businesses behind these events a way to reach people who are already looking for them, instead of competing in a crowded ad feed.
This is very early. I'm building it in the open and gathering real feedback before going further. I'd genuinely love to know: does this make sense as something you'd use? And if you run or know a personal growth business, would this be worth listing on?
Thank you for taking a look 🙏

Finally, something that cuts through the noise of endless Eventbrite listings. Gave it a quick try and it surfaced a small writing retreat near me that I would have scrolled right past, perfectly timed for a rough week. Solid concept.

@hikmetbyksi8xz Love hearing this, thank you! Would you mind sharing a bit more about what made the timing feel right? Trying to understand what's actually working.

Finally something that cuts through the noise of generic event listings. Tried it for a burnout slump and got three solid retreat options in under a minute, each one felt actually relevant to what I was dealing with.
