Hi all, I'm Danny and I work with the team behind AgilePad. I'd love to hear your feedback on our product, and I'm happy to answer any questions. So on with the show... We built AgilePad for people who like to operate in plaintext who are looking for a way to organize and manage those files into projects. It's got an easy learning curve (IMHO), but here's a quick example of how to use it. Let's say you and your team are in your AgilePad document, and someone types in a note during a team meeting (btw, it's realtime, so everyone sees each other typing). Here's how you might start out: Build the login system To turn this into an actual task, just preface it with [-]. Now it's able to appear in a bunch of lists that you can organize (or pivot) with different attributes. You can assign it to someone using @, specify a date with &, tag it to a list of certain categories with #, assign a cost with ^, and set up a status of the task with %. You might end up with something like this: [-] @dannytthan Build the login system. #login ^16 %pending &2016-06-13 Basically this says "Danny, I want you to build the login system by 6/13. It's got a cost of 16, so this will take you a couple days. Change the status to %wip when you start working on it, and when you finish it, tag it to %done. Sort by #login if you want to see all other tasks or sub-tasks related to it. If you want to see other unrelated tasks assigned to you, sort by your name." The actual AgilePad document is color coded, and offers a bunch of different views into the document, so it's a lot easier to visualize than what I'm showing here. Anyway, I'd love to hear your feedback, and I hope you will give it a try!
