With AgentWhisper, you hold a shortcut, speak, and your words land at the cursor in the app you are already using, an editor, Slack, email, Notes, or a browser field. The boundary I care about most is privacy: core transcription runs locally with Whisper, so microphone audio stays on your Mac. AI cleanup is optional. If you enable it, it uses your own API key and sends only the transcribed text—not audio—to the provider you chose. You can leave cleanup off completely. It is a signed macOS app for macOS 14.4+ (Apple Silicon is fastest; Intel is supported). It is also a one-time lifetime license, not a subscription.
