Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m Jeremy, and today I’m launching AgentManufacturing, an open-source library of portable AI skill packages built around real manufacturing workflows.
The idea behind the project is simple: general-purpose AI can talk about manufacturing, but manufacturing work needs more structure than a good-sounding answer. Methods, evidence, jurisdiction, calculations, safety boundaries, and qualified review all matter.
AgentManufacturing turns that knowledge into reusable skill packages with defined inputs, methods, outputs, and review boundaries.
The library currently includes:
🏭 159 manufacturing skills across 20 families
👷 18 professional skillsets covering 38 workflows
🇨🇦 Canadian jurisdiction overlays kept separate from general manufacturing methods
🔧 Workflows spanning production planning, quality, maintenance, reliability, safety, traceability, continuous improvement, manufacturing data, and more
The project is MIT licensed and completely open source.
It is also deliberately a development library rather than something I’m presenting as a finished production system. Independent model evaluation, qualified source review, and further validation are still part of the roadmap.
If you work in manufacturing, industrial operations, or AI tooling, I’d particularly value your perspective:
Which manufacturing workflow would you most want an AI system to handle better, and what would you need to trust its output?
