I built Agent WeChat because I wanted to use my WeChat conversations from my own tools.
It is an open-source client with a desktop app, a native wx CLI, an HTTP API, and an OpenClaw channel. It connects directly to WeChat and does not need the official desktop app running.
Send and receive text, images, video, file attachments, and voice notes in DMs and groups. Connect OpenClaw to talk to your agent in the same WeChat thread, or use the CLI and API to build your own workflows. Supported existing WeChat for Linux profiles can be used in place, including stored history and contacts.
The demo follows one conversation: a message from the phone, an agent reply, a voice note, an image request in the desktop app, and saving that image from the terminal.
The project is still evolving. The README documents supported features, platform status, and current limitations.
