Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the founder of Agata Proxima, and I'm excited to finally introduce what I've been building.
Here's the problem that inspired it:
In multi-tenant SaaS applications, protecting customer data isn't just about securing the database. It's about making sure one tenant can never accidentally access another tenant's information.
A missing authorization check, an incorrect query, or a misconfigured security policy can turn into a serious data exposure incident.
I kept coming back to one question:
What if database security could be enforced and continuously verified through an additional layer, rather than relying entirely on application-level checks?
That's why I built Agata Proxima.
It's a PostgreSQL security platform powered by an open-source Rust proxy engine, designed to help teams strengthen tenant isolation, enforce security policies, monitor database activity, and maintain auditable security records.
What makes Agata Proxima different?
🔐 Tenant-aware security: Strengthen isolation between customers in multi-tenant applications.
🛡️ Policy enforcement: Add security controls between your application and PostgreSQL.
🔎 Verification and auditing: Gain visibility into security decisions and maintain records for investigation and review.
⚡ Rust-powered infrastructure: An open-source proxy engine built with performance, memory safety, and reliability in mind.
📊 Centralized control: Manage tenants, policies, engine nodes, verification, and security activity through one platform.
And importantly, you don't need to replace PostgreSQL or migrate to a new database provider.
The open-source engine is available for developers who want to inspect the architecture, explore the implementation, or contribute.

I'm launching Agata Proxima because I believe database security deserves the same attention we give application security.
I'd love to hear from developers, CTOs, security engineers, and SaaS founders:
What's your biggest concern when securing a multi-tenant PostgreSQL application — cross-tenant data exposure, performance overhead, operational complexity, or proving that security controls actually work?
Your feedback and technical perspectives would mean a lot.
Thank you for checking out Agata Proxima! 🚀
