**Building the Superhuman Engineer.**
AfterMerge was born out of a problem we experienced firsthand as software engineers.
As Engineers working on production systems, we realized that writing code is only a small part of software delivery. The real engineering effort begins after a pull request is raised reviewing changes, validating business impact, generating test scenarios, coordinating releases, monitoring production, debugging issues, and ensuring every deployment reaches users safely.
These workflows are often fragmented across dozens of tools and require significant manual effort from developers, QA engineers, and SREs. They slow down releases, increase operational overhead, and pull engineers away from what they do best: building products.
We initially built AfterMerge to solve this problem for ourselves.
