Hey PH! I built Adsly solo as a side project.
The idea came from my own experience. I was building apps and trying to monetize them through Google AdSense and similar networks. The reality? You need massive traffic to make any real money. We're talking pennies per day with a small audience.
Then I realized - with a small but niche audience, you can actually earn way more by finding a sponsor or selling ad spots directly. A tech newsletter with 2,000 subscribers can charge more for a direct sponsorship than a general blog with 50,000 visitors makes from AdSense.
And it works the other way too - if you're a founder and don't want to spend thousands on Google/Facebook Ads, you can find a niche creator and sponsor them directly for a fraction of the cost.
The problem? There was no single place to connect both sides. So I built one.
Some early decisions:
- 0% commission - I'm not building another middleman
- Manual review on every listing - quality over quantity
- Free tier with 3 listings - low barrier to start
Every listing page is fully SEO-optimized - I want creators to get organic traffic from Google too. To encourage detailed, high-quality listings, I reward creators with a dofollow backlink when their listing meets all the criteria. It's a win-win: better listings for brands, free SEO juice for creators.
There's also a credits system - you can buy credits to feature your listing at the top of search results for 7 days or auto-approve pending listings. No subscriptions needed, just pay for what you use.
Before this launch, 140 creators signed up and 100+ sponsorship listings are live across 22 categories. All organic, zero marketing budget.
Currently working on in-app messaging between brands and creators. After that - verified traffic badges through integrations with analytics platforms, so brands can trust the numbers they see.
Would love your feedback - what would make this useful for you? If you have a newsletter, podcast or blog, try listing it. Takes 2 minutes, it's free.
Thanks for checking it out!
