Launching today
Every morning, millions take a capsule that decides how their day will go, and they can't see what it's doing. So they guess.. has it kicked in yet? Was that crash the meds fading, or just me? ADHDose maps your curve, built on pharmacokinetics specific to your medication and dose. But the real power builds over time, as the curve bends to fit you. Every day you journal, Insights turns those logs into evidence, when it wears off, whether it's actually working, and what drives your best days.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Matt. I started ADHD medication in the same month the company I worked for closed its doors. Which was kind of serendipitous, I felt more locked in than ever, and kept coming back to one question... what is this stuff actually doing?
The thing no one really told me about ADHD meds is that it's not like taking paracetamol, pop and forget. Stimulants build up over an hour or two, peak, then drain away, and your ability to focus rises and falls with them. But you can't see any of that. You just notice, come the afternoon, that you've read the same paragraph four times, and you have no idea if that's the medication fading, the dose being wrong, or just you.
I track everything, sleep, habits, exercise, and I figured that's what I needed for my ADHD too. But nothing really did what I was looking for, just a lot of reminder and note apps. So I started logging my focus in spreadsheets, all in the hope of answering "is it working?" with something better than "uhh, I think so?" when I spoke to my clinician.
When I first built this, I thought it would be pure maths and variables. I was very wrong, and I only knew because I could feel it was wrong.
My early versions would tell me I had a couple of hours left in the tank, while I'd be sat on the sofa trying to work out what I was supposed to be doing. It's a strange position to be in, mentally arguing with the app you've developed. I started to suspect it was me, that I was the issue... So I leaned on a few friends who also have lived experience with ADHD, and got them logging their days alongside mine (at least the non-iOS ones, more on that later!). They came through, hammered the app, stress tested the model, and landed on the same conclusion I had. The math wasn't mathing.
So I backed their gut, and built a whole other engine around correlations from what people were actually feeling rather than what the textbook said should be happening. That one decision is the reason it works, and it's why we ask about your day, and when we ask about it. It's not about checking in for the sake of it, it's about learning how your medication affects YOU, because no one knows you better than yourself.
So that's what ADHDose ended up being. It draws your medication curve, built from pharmacokinetic research and fitted to your dose, so you can see when it should kick in, peak and wear off instead of guessing. You get that from your first dose, and the longer you log, the more it adjusts to match you rather than the textbook. Insights turns those days into evidence about your own medication. When it truly wears off for you. Whether it's actually working, and by how much. What your best days have in common. Nobody can hand you that on day one, which is exactly why I think it's worth having.
ADHDose never suggests what to take. That's between you and your clinician. It just shows you what's happening, turns out that's kind of the part most people were missing.
It covers 18 medications across the UK, Europe and the US, each with its own pharmacokinetic profile, and recognises over 50 brand and generic names.
It's for people who want to understand their medication, not just remember to take it. If that's you, I'd love to know how your meds actually works for you. Do you track it at all? It's the question this whole app grew out of, so I'll be answering comments all day. Also, if you know someone who'd get it, passing it their way would mean a lot.
And for anyone on iOS, I did promise I'd come back to that. It's coming, and there's a waitlist on the site in the meantime.
Thank you for your support, it means the world to me 👍🏻
