Hi Product Hunt 👋 We're Kronosense, and ActivityPulse is the time tracker we built to be shown to the people it measures. This category has a reputation and it earned it. The established tools log keystrokes, take screenshots on a timer, and put a number out of a hundred next to somebody's name. They do produce timesheets. They also spend the team's trust to get them, and once that's gone the numbers stop being worth much either — people work around a tool they resent, and then the data is wrong as well as expensive. So we drew the capture surface first and built the product inside it. The desktop agent runs on Windows and macOS. It records which application and window are in the foreground, aggregates that on the device, and turns it into per-project hours, timesheets and payroll-ready exports. No timer to remember to start, and no reconstructing last Tuesday at the end of the month. What it does not do is not a setting: • Keystroke content is never captured. There is no code path that records what a person types. • There is no screen recording and no session replay. Screenshots exist on the Enterprise plan only, off unless an administrator turns them on. • No productivity score is calculated for anyone. The product reports what happened and leaves the judgement to the people who manage people. Three things we care about more than the feature list: • Each organisation's activity lives in its own database. Isolation is structural, not a WHERE clause somebody can forget. • Configuration only narrows. A team can capture less than the organisation permits, never more. That is the rule a works council actually reads. • It works offline. Close the laptop on a train and the hours are still there when it reconnects — counted once, not twice. Free for up to 3 users.
