👋 Hello Product Hunt! I am super excited to introduce Collective Laboratories to the Product Hunt community. My struggles with hair loss began after the birth of my first child, Eli, and then continued after I had my second child, Ruby. My hair mostly returned but was never quite the same. Then, almost 5 years ago, I suffered a stroke. The physical symptoms of the stroke, resulting emotional stress, and a combination of prescribed medications brought my hair loss back with a vengeance. While my doctors said to not worry about the loss -- and to use products with harsh chemicals like minoxidil and finasteride -- I just could not do it. I had elevated concerns about interactions due to stroke medications. So, I made countless trips to drug stores and consulted with experts - but was left feeling lost, confused, and convinced that there was no safe, effective, and natural solution to help me save my hair. Thankfully, I am the daughter of two Pakistani immigrants. So I called in reinforcements -- my family! I found myself using traditional Ayurvedic recipes from my Pakistani family and friends -- instead of products that were full of harsh chemicals -- to grow my hair back. And guess what they worked! As an experienced operator, with a problem to solve, I set out on a journey to find a hair growth solution that was safe & effective. This personal journey led me to start talking with people who had experienced hair loss -- and that is how I met my co-founders. We all shared our experiences — and tried each others' remedies — and they ALL worked. We knew we were on to something….and we are ready to get this out for you all to try :) ✅ We have taken a lot of care not to include harsh chemicals in our formulations.
