Your Mac turns the speakers you already own into one synced surround system: the soundbar, the Bluetooth speaker, the laptop, the Android phone in the drawer. Two speakers free. An Apple silicon Mac on macOS 15 or later, with a microphone. No iPhone or HomePod yet.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Snehasis. I build Acoustic Orbit.
It is a Mac app that turns the speakers you already own into one synced surround system. Mine are a MacBook Pro, a JBL Flip 7 and a Samsung soundbar. Left alone they never play together: each keeps its own time, and macOS does not measure the gap between them. So I built something that does.
What is measured. Wired and Ethernet to about a millisecond: that figure is the Raspberry Pi that feeds my soundbar, on Ethernet, one capture on 20 October 2026. It is the Pi’s own report, not a sound measured in the room. A Bluetooth speaker is timed with the microphone when the array starts, and the Mac’s players are told the measured delay. On 1 and 2 November 2026, after each start’s correction, my Flip landed within 9 ms of the Mac’s own speakers. One speaker, one room, not a promise. Every number is at acousticorbit.com/measured/, with what we saw.
What it does not do yet. A Bluetooth speaker’s delay wanders, and I still hear a small but noticeable mismatch at times. There is no iPhone or HomePod support yet. I have measured one room.
Two speakers are free for as long as you like. A founding license unlocks every speaker on one Mac: $19 for the first 100, then $29. Pay once, no subscription.
