Accessible Astro Launcher is a keyboard-driven command palette component for Astro websites. Think Spotlight, Raycast, or Linear's CMD+K, built from the ground up for Astro with WCAG 2.2 AA compliance. Why we built this: Command palettes have become essential for modern web apps, but most implementations leave screen reader users behind. We wanted to change that. Part of the Accessible Astro ecosystem — a collection of open-source tools helping developers build inclusive websites faster.

Hey Product Hunters!
I've been building Accessible Astro tools from (almost) the day Astro released. We've got two accessible themes and a lot of components already. A good, accessible launcher/command-palette was next on our list.
We built one from scratch, with proper WAI-ARIA patterns, full keyboard navigation and live announcements for screen readers. It's part of the larger Accessible Astro ecosystem that's already helping a lot of developers build inclusive websites.
I'd love your feedback on:
Real-world use cases we should prioritize
Keyboard/screen reader behaviors. Did we miss anything?
Theming flexibility vs. simplicity tradeoffs
Ideas for CMS integrations, routing adapters, or data sources
Future features (badges, nested children, callouts, multiple levels etc.)
Performance concerns for larger Astro sites
