I’ve always found it difficult to watch YouTube videos—probably because I have ADHD, which makes it hard for me to focus for long. No matter the type of video, I often struggle to follow along, and since I also read slowly, it can feel even more overwhelming. That’s why I thought: what if I could turn videos into transcripts and then pass them to ChatGPT to translate into different languages (for me, mainly Chinese)? This way, I can read and process the content much faster and more effectively. So I built this little tool. It lets you quickly and ad-free generate YouTube transcripts, which you can then use with ChatGPT for translation or further processing. I created it for myself, but I believe it could be useful for many others too.
