Hey Product Hunt — I’m Taylor. This started with trying to give my Canon Rebel T6 footage more anamorphic character. It grew into a free desktop editor I’ve been building with Codex.
Build a multitrack cut, trim and split clips, add transitions and titles, mix audio, animate controls, and shape color with streaks, bloom, halation and grain. There are 24 export profiles, from verified RGB16 FFV1 and DPX/EXR sequences to editorial intermediates and H.264, HEVC or AV1 delivery.
The verified lossless profiles decode exported frames and compare them with the rendered samples. Each profile explains its picture and audio contract; delivery encodes such as AV1 remain lossy choices.
This is an early beta. Short native 7680×4320 exports passed independent checks on an RTX 3090 and Apple M4, including installed-app export, download and project reopening. Long-form stability and broader footage coverage still need testing.
The Windows and Apple Silicon installers are free, and the code is GPL-3.0-or-later. The current Mac app requires macOS 26.6.2+ and is not notarized; the Windows installer is unsigned. Processing is local, so your footage stays on your computer.
