Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built 2ME because I remember exactly how frustrating it was choosing my first motorcycle — every listing site just sorts by price or shows you whatever's advertised, and none of it accounts for your license, your actual experience level, or how you'll really use the bike (city commute vs. weekend touring vs. off-road).
I ended up making spreadsheets comparing specs manually just to make a decent decision. That's the moment I thought: this should be a 2-minute quiz, not a week of research.
The first version was just a scoring formula behind a simple form. But as I tested it with friends who were shopping for their first bike, I realized the real value wasn't just "here's a list" — it was explaining why each recommendation did or didn't fit them. So I rebuilt the matching logic to surface a clear breakdown (experience fit, riding environment, maintenance, fuel cost) instead of just a ranked list.
Along the way I also added a way for sellers to list their bike directly, so the same matching engine that helps buyers find the right fit can also connect sellers to buyers who are actually a good match — not just whoever clicks first.
Would love to hear what you think, especially if you've ever gone through the "which bike should I even get" struggle yourself. Feedback on the matching logic is very welcome!

The "why it fits" scores are genuinely useful, but it would be great to see a running cost estimate per bike too, like insurance tier, typical service intervals, and parts availability. That kind of long-term ownership data often matters more than the upfront price when you're deciding between ten solid matches.

@recep758661 hey recep first thank you for your comment, about the insurance tier the prices can vary quite a bit from country to country. I'll definitely keep your feedback in mind and add as much globally relevant information as I can, such as parts availability and ease of maintenance and operation. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

The license-aware filtering is a really thoughtful touch, a lot of bike finders just throw everything at you and let you figure out what you can actually legally ride. Feels like someone who actually bought their first bike built this.

@znursemq Thank you Öznur, I really appreciate that! That was exactly the idea behind it. I wanted the tool to be genuinely helpful for people looking for their first bike, not just another database of motorcycles. I'm glad that approach came across.

Took the quiz out of curiosity and the matches were spot on, way better than scrolling through endless listings. Love that it just works for my A2 license without me having to filter anything myself.

@lyasdeliolljf1 Thanks so much! I'm really happy to hear that. Making the process simple and showing only bikes that actually fit your license was one of my main goals, so it's great to know it made a difference. I really appreciate you giving it a try!
