What do you think? …

I’ve always loved the Pomodoro technique — it’s one of the few productivity methods that truly works for me. But every timer I tried was overloaded with features I didn’t need: endless settings, complex rules, even mandatory account creation… So I built 25 Minutes Timer — a Chrome extension that does exactly one thing: Click the icon → starts a 25-minute countdown instantly. When time’s up → gentle sound + bigger icon to remind you to take a break. Runs in a floating transparent iframe, so it stays on top without affecting your work tab. Optional tweaks for work, short break, and long break durations. That’s it. No sign-ups, no fancy dashboards, no “pro” plan. Just a single button that works every time. Why I built it: I get distracted easily and I wanted a timer that wouldn’t distract me even more. Turns out I’m not alone — 100 people started using it in just 3 weeks without any ads or marketing. Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to use the Pomodoro technique without wading through unnecessary features — students, freelancers, developers, remote workers. Call to action: If you’ve been looking for a timer that respects your time and attention — give it a try and let me know what you think!

This is truely awesome! I hate all the bloated Pomodoro timers out there – so many unnecessary features. The "one click → 25 minutes" simplicity is kinda genius imo. No logins? Even better! Fr, I'm gonna try this out today. How customizable are the break times, though? Could I, say, set a 5 minute work session?
