Why we built 1Resume AI: After watching countless talented people struggle to get past ATS systems and never knowing if their resumes were even being seen, I realized we needed something different. The job search is already stressful enough – you shouldn't need a PhD to figure out if your resume will make it through automated filters. What makes this different: Most resume tools stop at "here's a nice template." We went further: Real-time analytics – You'll actually know when someone views your resume, where they came from, and how many times they looked at it. No more sending resumes into the void. AI-powered ATS scoring – Get a score (0-100) before you apply, with specific, actionable feedback. Not vague advice like "add more keywords," but actual line-by-line recommendations. One resume, everywhere – Upload once, use it for public sharing AND job applications. No more juggling multiple versions across different platforms. Built for 2025 – Works offline, installs like a native app, and feels fast because it actually is fast (Next.js 15, Convex real-time database). What I'm most proud of: The fact that someone can upload their old PDF resume, and within seconds, our AI understands it, scores it, and gives them a modern shareable link with analytics. That whole flow just works, and it feels like magic. Also, the company portal – HR folks have told us they save 80% of their screening time.
