Log your travel and check day counts against verified residency thresholds — each country by its own rule. Free, no signup, data stays in your browser.
Hi PH 👋 I'm Henning, a licensed Norwegian accountant.
I built this because the "183-day rule" advice online is dangerously oversimplified. 183 isn't universal: Spain and Cyprus count within a calendar year, Portugal and the UAE use rolling 12-month windows , and for rolling rules what binds is the peak of any 12-month period, not the count ending today. Most trackers quietly get this wrong and give people false comfort.
So 183 Days counts each country by its own verified rule, and for rolling rules it reports the peak 12-month window anywhere in your log. Every threshold links to its source and the date I last checked it.
Three deliberate choices: it's free, there's no signup or email wall, and your travel log never leaves your browser (localStorage/no account, no server). It's part of a bigger sourced reference I'm building for cross-border tax (globaltaxatlas.com). Educational, not tax advice, but I'd rather nomads count their days with the right rule than a made-up one. What countries should I add next? 🙏
