I'm excited to launch 10minbox today.

I built 10minbox because I constantly find myself needing to send a quick file, PDF, sensitive API key or password from my laptop to my phone (or to a coworker on a different network) without creating any account/login or leaving any digital trails.

With 10minbox, everything is strictly temporary and completely anonymous.
It's a privacy-first, zero-login drop box for transfering confidential notes & files securely. No accounts, no logs, end-to-end encrypted, and it self-destructs in 10 minutes.
It’s completely free to use.

⚡ How it works:

Seal a box (upload):
- Drop your files (up to 50MB for now) and pick a 4-digit PIN.
- We instantly encrypt the payload in your browser and upload it.
- You get a 6-character Box ID.

Open a box (download):
- The recipient enters the Box ID and PIN to download and decrypt locally.
- The data completely self-destructs after 10 minutes

Zero-Knowledge Architecture:

I wanted to ensure absolute privacy, so built this with a Zero-Knowledge Architecture.
- Client-Side Encryption: Before your text or files leave your browser, they are encrypted locally.
- Client-Side Zipping: If you drop multiple files, the browser zips them locally before uploading.
- The Edge: The encrypted data is temporarily held on Cloud storage. The servers cannot read your files as its encrypted with your PIN.
