10K Books is an offline-first reading app for finishing more ideas in less time. Explore 1,000+ summaries across English, Spanish, and French. Read them in a calm reader or listen with sentence-highlighted read-aloud. Your library, progress, highlights, and streaks stay ready on-device, with nothing extra to download before a flight, commute, or patchy-signal trip. Biblio can answer questions about the summary you are reading when you are online.
Hi Product Hunt, I’m Fernando, the maker of 10K Books.
I wanted a reading app that did not make me plan ahead: no "download this before boarding," no sync queue, and no surprise when a connection drops. So I built the library around offline-first use. The app carries 1,000+ summaries in English, Spanish, and French, alongside read-aloud that highlights each spoken sentence. Growing each week!
I’d love to hear when you most need reading material offline and what would make a 6 to 30 minute summary worth returning to tomorrow. I’ll be here all day and will answer directly.
Reply to "How is this different from Blinkist?": The difference is not that other apps cannot work offline. They can. In 10K Books, the library is already on the device, so there is nothing extra to download or sync before you lose signal. It is also available in three languages.
Also for launch we are running an external testing of the app, the first 45 approved external testers across iOS and Android receive Pro for life at no cost. This is a limited external-testing invitation, not a request for a positive review. Honest feedback is welcome. A review or post is never required. But any bug ping would be great to know!
