Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I created 1+1 CleanMode because cleaning a Mac while it is awake is surprisingly awkward. A single wipe can type unwanted characters, click something, scroll a page, or move a window. CleanMode turns that moment into a dedicated cleaning session. The Full edition offers Full Cleaning and Keyboard Only for input protection, while Screen Only provides a customizable surface for cleaning the display. I also added multiple-display support, countdowns, session timers, colors, subtle sounds, a safe exit method, and an optional animated companion. Privacy was important from the beginning. CleanMode does not record input, create accounts, use analytics, or send cleaning-session data anywhere. Everything happens locally on the Mac. There are two editions: • 1+1 CleanMode Lite — free on the Mac App Store, with Screen Cleaning and no special permission required. • 1+1 CleanMode — available on Gumroad, with Full Cleaning and Keyboard Only. The Full edition requests macOS Accessibility access only when an input-blocking mode is started.
