Hi Hunters! I’m Gery, builder behind 0xio. I built 0xio because I believe privacy is only useful if it’s accessible. The Problem: I've been following the Octra Network (a new FHE privacy blockchain) since its early testnet days. The tech is incredible, but the user experience was… nonexistent. To interact with the network, you had to use CLI tools. There was no GUI, no browser extension, and no easy way for developers to connect dApps. Basically, if you weren't familiar with CLI stuff, you will hit a wall. The Inspiration: I realized that for a privacy network to succeed, it needs a "gateway." It needs its own Rabby. I didn't want to wait for an official team to build it, so I started coding 0xio. How the product evolved: Originally, I just wanted to build a simple balance checker. But as I dug into the complex encryption required for Octra's private transfers, I realized that other developers would hit this same wall. That shifted my entire approach. I didn't just build a wallet; I paused development on the UI to build and publish the 0xio SDK first. Now, 0xio is a dual-engine ecosystem: For Users: A privacy-first Chrome Extension (Published) that handles complex encryption in the background. For Builders: A TypeScript SDK that lets any dApp connect to Octra (Currently limited to Readmore: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@0...). What's Next? We are live on the Chrome Store with ~58 early testers. The Mobile App (React Native) is in active development. I’d love to hear your feedback, especially on the SDK if you are a dev! Happy to answer any questions about building privacy tools or the Octra ecosystem below!
