Drake didn’t drop an album this year, but if you bundle all the one-off tracks he dropped, it arguably would make the best hip hop album of 2014. Of those one-off tracks, 0-100 is the standout. It showcases Drake’s full range – boastful confidence across a hard hitting beat in the first half of the track, followed by a minimalist softer beat in the second half with a reflective Drake. You know a track has moved the needle on pop culture when you start seeing the “100” emoticon all over snapchat and instagram with "0 to 100 real quick” captions.
