What do you think? …

saroskar
One of my side projects I built to scratch my own itch :)

@saroskar Mind adding an SSL certificate to the site? 😅
saroskar
@amrith It does support HTTPS - https://zipl.ink/
Aelia Yousaf
great idea - should have called it Zap the link :)
saroskar
@aelia_yousaf Thank you! I already had zipl.ink domain for some other reasons so just re-purposed it for this :)

Just converting the website into a two-dimensional code?
saroskar
@new_user_1804521b25 Yes, that's it. I know, not revolutionary innovation but I do find it useful for myself nonetheless :) For example, I use it when I'm leaving office and I want to read some articles that I have open in my desktop browser's tab on shuttle back home - I just zip those links to my mobile using this.

I think it's useless (at least for me) because I can just copy-paste link from desktop-browser to telegram and instantly open link from mobile telegram. Or I can go to Chrome on mobile and open "Broswer history". Chrome synchronize open tabs from other accounts and show me them in mobile. So, my ways are more simpler than generating of gr-codes.

@kovolexiy You are absolutely right about Chrome - or safari for that matter -synchronizing tabs across devices. But I'm self-admitted privacy paranoid and don't like to sign into Chrome to limit tracking by browser. In fact I browse most of the web in private browsing (incoginto) mode! That's why I had to develop this for my own use..
