I built Zava after running mining operations and realizing how fragmented the tooling is once you move beyond a handful of machines. Hashrate lives in one place, pool configs in another, billing in spreadsheets, customer reporting in email threads, and compliance is often an afterthought until it becomes a fire drill. The core problem I wanted to solve was operational clarity at scale: giving operators a single system that reflects how mining businesses actually run today. Multiple pools, fractional leases, different utility rates, customers who want transparency, and regulators who expect clean records. The approach evolved a lot during development. Early versions were very “operator-only,” but conversations with hosting providers and lease customers pushed us to build proper customer portals, revenue analytics, and reporting from day one. We also leaned hard into real-time monitoring and pool management because those decisions drive margins more than almost anything else. This is the first public step, and we’re excited to learn from operators, hosts, and anyone managing real infrastructure.
