Hey Product Hunt community 👋 Gen Z is the largest living generation, representing 30% of the world population. They are internet-born, pragmatic and self-thought, yet they have no access to digital financial services.  Many Gen Z’ers want to learn not only how to spend their money, but also how to earn money of their own and become autonomous from their parents from an early age. Z1’s product is the first in Brazil to give them this autonomy and set them on the road to financial independence. Teenagers in Brazil download the Z1 app, register in under 2 minutes and ask for their parents permission to use the account. After the account is approved, we issue and ship a Mastercard card in under two weeks to anywhere in Brazil (where logistics can be tricky due to the country's size and poor infrastructure). With Z1, teens can make online and in-person purchases, get instant notifications about their account activity and make P2P transfers to their friends. We're also the first digital bank to offer Pix (the new instant payments system in Brazil) for teenagers. Additionally, Z1's users are using the account to receive money from their side gigs and to start their own businesses, making Z1 a way to generate their own income. Our goal is to become the go-to bank for Gen Z in LatAm 💸

We started Z1 with the mission of providing financial inclusion for teenagers and setting them on the road to financial independence. This is only the beginning!

I've been working at Z1 for 10 months and it's the first company that I work where I actually use the product in a daily basis: dogfooding :D
