YOBO wants to reinvent and simplify the classical city-/local guide app by using nothing else than photos π· emojis ππΊπ and lot of AI π€ It basically changed the classic rating system using stars βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ into just using emojis ππΊπ Users share photos of locations and tag these places using up to 3 Emojis.
Thx @ralphstenzel π Working hard on coverage. We use image recognition for getting data out of pictures and to translate it into emojis. So its saver for us to crowdsource the images. Anyways, hope its fun to share a pic rated with 3 Emojis π

Another ugly project which is completely unnecessary. I wonder why people spend their time to make things that are just useless.
@erd_so Yes, Berlin is our starting point, but right after Berlin comes London, with roughly 100 something shared Happy Places. Besides that we see in London the highest organic growth by now. At this moment we focus on genuine user generated content to see if people are willing to share pics on our app like they do it on Instagram. Because we are using image recognition to get data about each spot (and translate it into emojis ;) its also the saver way to store these images on our servers, so we can use them to train our personalization AI.
Would be awesome if youΒ΄d share some of your Happy Places. Since I know you like Wohnzimmer, I believe youΒ΄ve got a pretty nice taste π
Super fun to look at emoji clouds and to discover places based on emojis, instead of having to read endless reviews and comments and star ratings.
Pros:Greatest way to explore and recommend places in a visual way - with emojis !
Cons:Coverage is still growing, as it depends on community
