Affiliate tracking doesn't have to be invasive. We built WiseURL for CouponSwift because we wanted ownership of our data without sacrificing user privacy. It runs on Next.js 16 and Supabase, using Edge Functions for lightning-fast redirects while collecting analytics (Country, Device, OS) without ever storing IP addresses.

Marius here, maker of WiseURL. I built this tool to solve a specific problem we had at CouponSwift.com. We manage thousands of deals, but existing link shorteners were either too expensive ($$$/mo for custom domains) or tracked way too much data about our users. So we built our own. WiseURL is: Fast: Runs on Netlify/Vercel Edge functions. Private: No IPs stored. Ever. Free: Self-hosted on free tiers. Open Source: MIT License.
