Most habit trackers manipulate you with notifications, guilt you with broken streaks, and gamify your life to maximize engagement. WhenDidILast respects you instead. No notification spam. No goal pressure. No streak anxiety. No data collection. No subscriptions. Just simple tracking that shows when you last did something, surfaces habits worth reviewing, lets you backdate entries when you forget, and celebrates completions with you. Android. Free (5 habits) or $7.99 one-time (unlimited).

Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Lucas, and I built WhenDidILast because I was tired of habit trackers that didn't respect their users.
I kept downloading these apps hoping they'd help me build better habits, but instead they made me feel worse. Broken streaks felt like failures. Notifications became noise I ended up ignoring. The apps felt like they were designed to maximize my screen time rather than actually help me.
So I asked myself: what would a respectful habit tracker look like?
• It would trust you. No notifications reminding you what to do. You can decide when something needs doing.
• It would be honest about goals. They exist, but aren't shoved in your face to create artificial pressure.
• It would celebrate without manipulating. A small celebration when you complete something, but no streak counters that make you feel bad when life happens.
• It would respect your privacy. No ads, no tracking, no data harvesting.
• It would charge fairly. A one-time purchase, not a subscription designed to extract maximum lifetime value.
The result was WhenDidILast.
You open it, you see when you last did things, you log what you did today, you get a little celebration, you close it. No anxiety, no manipulation, no guilt.
I'm curious:
Do you feel your habit tracker respects you?
What would make habit tracking feel more human to you?
I'm here all day to answer questions about design decisions or anything else!
