The product fills the massive gap that currently sits between a basic DIY spreadsheet and the highly complex/pricey lineup of personal finance software leaders today.

After 5 years working in the wealth management space, I continuously saw the same 3 challenges. 1. People who have no earthly idea how much they spend on average. 2. People who are currently saving fair amounts, but with no long-term goal in mind. 3. People who have saved a ton of money but are unsure if they have enough for retirement. Waterfall Planning is for people who want a clear financial plan without linking their bank accounts or sorting through features they will never use. More straight-forward, more data privacy, less cost. While surely not a fit for all, I believe and see the underestimated niche of people who just want a no-frills personal finance platform to help them get from Point A to Point B.
